Frequently asked questions

What does "psychic medium" really mean?

A medium is a person who is able to communicate with those who have crossed over into the afterlife. A psychic is a person who can read energies here on Earth, such as people, animals, and gain intuitive information regarding relationships, careers, and other Earthly matters. All mediums also have psychic abilities, although not all psychics are also mediums. I use both words to make it easy to understand the abilities that I possess.

How did you realize you were a psychic medium?

I explain this a bit more in depth on my about page, but I'll try to give a quick summary here. I was a 22 year old high school English teacher in Chicago Public Schools and very stressed out and anxious at my job. When I google searched "natural ways to reduce anxiety," I stumbled upon the ancient healing practice of reiki. As I moved up in reiki attunement levels, I also was inadvertently teaching myself how to meditate for the first time. The combination of energy therapy and meditation meant that I was open and now growing more and more talented at receiving information. Over time, I began receiving information for myself, then for friends, and eventually for strangers. I left the public teaching classroom in 2009 and have been a practicing professional psychic medium ever since then! I certainly had premonitions and psychic insights before reiki and meditation, but these new practices made my abilities very prominent.

I don't know what kinds of questions to ask! What kinds of questions can I ask?

The sky is the limit! You can ask anything you like, and everything is confidential. You can ask about your career, relationships, health, decisions to be made, pets, children, late loved ones, spirit guides, angels . . . your own imagination is your only limit. On my services page, you can get a more in depth explanation of what can be covered in a reading.

Keep in mind, of course, that a reading should never serve as a substitute for professional consultation from a physician, attorney, or mental health professional. Always seek extra guidance in these matters.

Is a reading over the phone just as good as a reading in person?

Yes, absolutely. The physical distance between myself and my client makes no difference in clarity or accuracy. Nearly all of my clients are phone clients! I have callers from all time zones in the United States, as well as Canada, Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia.
